The requirements for the Bachelor of Arts with a Pre-Medicine Emphasis are the same as for the Bachelor of Arts as described above with the following additional requirements: • 2 Semesters of Organic Chemistry Laboratory (Chem 226 and 228) • 2 semesters of Physics with Laboratory (21 or 31, 22, 25 or 35, 26) (NB: All students earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences will have completed the standard requirements for application to medical school.) |
IV. Bachelor of Arts-Biological Sciences Teacher Certificate Requirements |
A. V. Biological Sciences Minor |
A minor in Biological Sciences requires a minimum of 20 hours of Biological Sciences coursework, which normally includes Bio 110, 112, 211, and 212 and at least 7 hours of 300 level Biology coursework to be selected in consultation with a departmental advisor. Minors should declare their intentions prior to the start of their junior year. |
VI. Bioinformatics Minor |
